Electrically skilled person for defined tasks (EfffT)
If the electrician is only needed occasionally
Just quickly connect a power outlet
The painter has finished painting the room. Now just quickly reconnect the power outlets. But do I really need to call an electrician? Three wires - anyone can do that, right?
Maybe, but it's prohibited.
Quickly fixing the heating
The pump was broken, so the plumber quickly installed a new one. After all, it's not like it's the first time he's done it. Quickly disconnect the power cable from the old pump and connect it to the new one. What could possibly go wrong?
Well, probably nothing, but it's prohibited.
Quickly assembling the kitchen
The new kitchen is in place, and the installer has done a great job. Now just quickly connect the ceramic hob. Five cables? As long as he connects the same colors in the hob connection box...
It might work, but it's prohibited.
It is better to obtain training as an electrically skilled person for defined tasks
Any employee with manual vocational training can easily obtain additional qualifications as a skilled electrical person for defined tasks (EfffT). For the tasks taught in this training, they are then considered a skilled electrical person in accordance with DGUV V3, DIN VDE 1000-10, and DIN EN 50110-1 and may perform these tasks on their own responsibility.
